Discover Earth Science Day

Rio Brazos Master Naturalists, Earth Science Week event, called “Discover Earth Science” is to be held on Saturday, October 26, from 10am to 3pm at the Acton Nature Center outside of Granbury.  The DPS  will be represented by showing local fossils, answering questions, handing out fliers for Fossilmania and the DPS in general, and showing our new Sulphur River guidebook as well as the Fossil Collecting Guide. Who we are

The DPS is a group of professional and amateur paleontologists that want to exchange information, interact, and continue their education in paleontology.  We meet once a month on the second Wednesday evening of the month at Brookhaven College, Building H.
