Lake Texoma Field Trip - Wrap Up by Polly Mullinnex
I unfortunately missed my first field trip since becoming Field trip leader. I had some minor dental surgery that decided to start bleeding leaving me looking very much like a Vampire after a tasty meal, so I was forced to turn around and return home. I want to thank Ed and Kathy Swiatovy who were co-leaders for taking over and assuring a perfect day for all in attendance. The weather was outstanding with comfortable temperatures and lovely breeze which encouraged a large turnout. In all, 39 cars and those peopling them showed up in full force so the decision was made to divide the group into three pods each hunting a different part of the lakeshore. Ed and Kathy Swiatovy, Jane and Don Fagerstroim and Roger and Linda Farish were the hosts. (more pics in the November Fossil Record)
